A wine bottle enters the cellar crashing into other bottles. After that it transforms into a wine glass, which is obviously tipsy, jumping around even more.
Started with a test shape animation (2D) between the wine glass and the bottle. Two more Inbetween shapes are needed to create a fluent transition.
Creating the low poly models out of the shapes and started rigging the wine glass. Modelling the assets to fill the setting of a cellar. Everything is done with Softimage and rendered with ambient occlusion using an HDR picture to pick its colour (by FIFTYEIGHT ANIMATION ).
Learning a new animation technique by working with the shape manager. Giving human character traits to an object and creating an overall pack shot feeling.
